Using Our Site |
Tips on how to find information on our site.
Our web site was designed to provide our visitors with the following fast and efficient options to locate desired information.
|
Option 1: Using Search Tools
|
|
You can use the search tools located in the upper right corner to find information
in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) database, Services listing,
Forms application or general site search. Select the desired
source of information from the dropdown menu (FAQ, Services, Forms, This Site)
then type your search criteria. Click on the Go button or press the Enter
key to view search results.
Search Tips:
1. Using singular words such as 'form' instead 'forms' in the keywords search box will provide a wider range of results.
2. Including keywords in single or double quotes is not necessary.
3. Don't separate multiple keywords with a comma.
4. Leave the keywords search box blank to view all.
5. If you still cannot find what you're looking for, you can utilize the FAQ system to ask a question.
Search Options:
1. FAQ: This knowledge database houses Frequently
Asked Questions previously asked by visitors like you. The tool will display possible answers
to your question. If you have additional questions or not satisfied with the answers then you
can post a new question for our support team. You will promptly receive an e-mail acknowledging
receiving your question and another e-mail from our support team addressing your question within
48 business hours.
2. Forms: This application will
provide a list of forms based on your search criteria. You can perform edit, print or
download depending on the type of the form you request.
3. Services: This tool allows
you to search for information, by keyword, on any of the services provided by Department
of Public Works. Type a keyword (examples: graffiti removal; road resurfacing; permit
issuance) and click on Search. Leave the search field blank to list all services. If you see
