(Q)How can firms be considered for County projects?
(A)In order to be considered for County projects, the firm has to apply for inclusion on the AEB list of A/E firms.

(Q)How does a firm apply for inclusion on the AEB list of Architecture Engineering firms?

(Q)What qualifications are needed for inclusion on the AEB list of Architecture Engineering firms?
(A)Any design firm with an architect partner such as an Architect, Architect/Engineer, Engineer/Architect, Architect Planner, Interior Design, etc., with a California license to practice architecture is eligible to apply.

(Q)Can any size firm apply?
(A)Yes, as long as the firm meets the qualification requirements.

(Q)When will I find out if I have been added to the AEB listing of A/E firms?
(A)Within 2 weeks after the next AEB meeting. This will normally be no more than 6 weeks from the date of application submittal. The applicant will be notified by U.S. Mail.

(Q)What organization is responsible for the final award of a contract for architectural services?
(A)The Director of the Department of Public Works can award contracts with a value of up to $75,000 for architectual/engineering services using authority delegated by the County Code (County Code 2.18.030). The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is resp
