The Los Angeles County Aviation Commission (LCAC) advises and makes recommendations on the Airport Master Plan for County-owned airports, regulations, specifications for issuance of permits for establishment and expansion of airports and heliports, regulations and plans for zoning approaches to airports and heliports, and limiting type of buildings and natural growth of areas adjacent to airports and heliports.
