Next Phase of Franchise Areas
Public Works recently sent out requests for proposals (RFPs) to all permitted waste haulers in Los Angeles County to bid on the following franchise areas:
Bids for these areas were submitted and are currently under review. Criteria for selecting the best qualified waste hauler include price, work plan, financial resources, references, experience, environmental record, and procurement and/or contract/agreement disputes. The waste hauler who receives the highest overall score may be awarded the franchise.
The RFPs for the following areas will be released Spring 2008:
