AZUSA: FEBRUARY 21, 2004 WASTE TIRE RECYCLING EVENT
In February 2004, the County conducted a tire recycling event in the City of Azusa. The rain did not prevent residents from bringing in their tires to be recycled in efforts to help protect the environment.
The event collected 1,082 passenger equivalent tires. It was held at a tire recycling facility and tires were processed onto assembly lines to manufacture tire products.
