METHODOLOGY: 1998 First Interim Evaluation Study
In June 1998, 605 Los Angeles County residents were interviewed for the First Interim Evaluation Study.
The study was conducted to:
- Assess the progress of the campaign to date.
- Determine what aspects of the program were working best.
- Provide recommendations for improving the overall effectiveness of the campaign.
The same sampling and screening criteria were applied to the 1998 study as were used in the 1997 baseline study.
- A smaller total sample size was used because the data was meant to provide a total market read without analyzing individual subsegments of the population.
