Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question:
Why does the computer check the box for special provisions regarding bridge clearances for a legal height permit?

Answer:
The Special Provisions require the Permittee or Authorized Representative to declare that the route has been reviewed within the week preceding the move. This review is necessary not only to assure that the route is clear for tall loads, but also for wide or long loads. The Permittee is responsible for assuring that there is no construction work or obstructions that could create a problem during the move.
