Where can I get the guidelines or parameters for submitting a Record of Survey and the cost or fees to do so?

Answer:
The cost of filing and recording a Record of Survey is $173 for the initial sheet ($160 checking fee + $13 recording fee)
and $58 for each additional sheet ($55 checking fee + $3 recording fee). The County Surveyor is governed by the rules and regulations of the California Business & Professions Code (also known as the Professional Land Surveyors Act) Sections 8700 through 8805. Items not addressed in the guidelines, can be found in the L.S. Act, or feel free to call this office.
