About 80% of the HHW and 100% of the E-waste collected at our events are recycled. Any HHW that cannot be recycled, is managed in an environmentally proper manner. The County requires that all E-waste collected and recovered at the events be recycled within the United States; no export of any electronic devices for the purposes of dismantling, disposal, recycling or resale is permitted. The contractors we work with follow guidelines set forth by the California Integrated Waste Management Board and the Department of Toxic Substances Control.
