Purpose of Questionnaire:

In order to prepare the Dominguez Watershed Management Plan in a manner that will be useful to the variety of stakeholders in the watershed, it is necessary to have an understanding of existing watershed management procedures, watershed problems, unmet needs, enhancement and restoration opportunities, and stakeholder goals. The purpose of these questionnaires is to gather this type of relevant information, which is not easily available from reports or maps.

How the Questionnaire will be Used:

Provided information will be used to identify sources of information that will contribute to accurate description of existing watershed conditions, understanding of watershed issues, focus planning efforts on relevant issues, and to formulate recommendations for watershed management actions.

Your Time is Valuable:

Thank you for your time in filling out the questionnaire. We request the questionnaires be completed by the January 8 meeting of the Dominguez Watershed Advisory Council (DWAC).

How to Fill Out the Questionnaire:

Most questions are multiple choice or require a "yes" or "no" answer. However, most "yes" answers will require additional information in the form of a brief explanation. Some information may require personal follow-up for details too complicated to be provided in a brief response. In that case, please provide contact information (name, telephone number, e-mail address). A printable map of the watershed is available below.

The questionnaires should not be considered all encompassing. We welcome any additional input you may consider relevant to the development of a responsive watershed management plan. Please contact the following individuals to further discuss watershed issues and return completed questionnaire to David Rydman. In addition, a large portion of the DWAC meeting on December 4, 2002 will include a working discussion of the questionnaires.
