The DWAC is a locally organized, voluntary, non-regulatory group established to improve the conditions of watersheds in their local area. The Advisory Council represents a wide variety of interests in the watershed and is balanced in its makeup. It brings together local stakeholders from private, local, state, and federal interests in a partnership, to plan watershed protection and restoration strategies in a holistic way.
