At various community events, The Environmental Defenders Activity Books are given out to kids. Activities vary in difficulty to accommodate the large age range of Kindergarten through sixth grade. All pages contain images for coloring and have fun and educational challenges such a re-use word search, a recycling maze, a stormwater jumble, and a household hazardous waste (HHW) identification puzzle.

Two posters are created each year. One is a 12 month calendar featuring a monthly environmental tip. The other poster varies from year to year. The 2000 poster was for Earth Day. The 2001 poster is promoting Earth Jam 2, a student competition to create environmental public service announcements (PSAs).
