Public Works employees speak 27 different languages and represent at least 58 different ethnic groups
from 70 different countries.
Public Works is committed to creating and sustaining a culture that not only respects the unique contributions of a diverse workforce but also maximizes that diversity to better serve our residents. As public servants, we are proud to resemble the population we serve.
The Multicultural Fair is an annual event that offers employees a space to share their cultures, customs, and traditions with fellow employees. The fair invites various cultural performers to entertain and educate our attendees. The goal of the event is to promote different cultures through dance, arts, songs, and food. Public Works Affinity Groups will also have several displays promoting their individuality.
