Most of the Cities in Los Angeles County have requested residents to remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, nails, plastic containers, and plastic or metal tree stands. Unless otherwise noted, flocked trees will be accepted. The Christmas trees can then be placed at curbside next to the recycling and waste containers on scheduled trash collection day(s) during the time period noted. Please see special instructions for further details and possible exceptions to these rules in your City.
No flocked trees. Cut up trees and put into yard waste cart on regular pick-up day. $10 fee for pick-up on non pick-up day. $15 fee for pick-up of uncut tree. Mutli-family and apartments need to order a roll off box for collection. Calabasas Park Valet customers can leave their trees in their trash cubicle area.
Trees more than 6 feet tall must be cut in half. Trees needed to be placed at the curb at least 3 feet away from any objects by 6 a.m. on the scheduled trash day. Do not put trees inside automated containers.
