Most of the Cities in Los Angeles County have requested residents to remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, nails, plastic containers, and plastic or metal tree stands. Unless otherwise noted, flocked trees will be accepted. The Christmas trees can then be placed at curbside next to the recycling and waste containers on scheduled trash collection day(s) during the time period noted. Please see special instructions for further details and possible exceptions to these rules in your City.
Curbside collection in green waste container if cut in sections to fit. Remove the stand spike and all nonorganic material. No charge to residents if tree picked up on usual trash day.
