    • Due to Caltrans Trancas Creek Bridge Replacement Project, the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works will be installing 800 feet of temporary bypass waterline in Caltrans right of way as part of the Trancas Creek Crossing Temporary Waterline (Phase 1) project. We will distribute notification flyers one month prior to start of construction, tentatively scheduled for October 2020.     • Due to the 2018 Woolsey Fire, urgent water system improvements are necessary in Western Malibu. The Encinal Canyon Water System Improvements will be completed within 4 years.
    • Beginning February 3rd 2020, County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works contractor will be installing waterlines, valves, and other appurtenant work near the streets of Vista Del Preseas, Avenida De La Encinal, Encinal Canyon Road, Via Vienta, and Vista De Los Ondas. Construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Residents may experience minimal traffic impacts and parking restrictions. We appreciate your observance of all traffic controls and parking restrictions. Please exercise caution while in the vicinity during construction activities.     • The Civic Center Improvements Community Meeting was held on Tuesday, June 4th at 6 p.m. at the Malibu City Hall. The proposed project is along several streets, including sections of Serra Road, Sweetwater Mesa Road, the intersection of Palm Canyon Lane and Serra Road, and Pacific Coast Highway.
