 Divert and United States Cold Storage Transform Food That Can't Be Sold or Donated into Renewable Energy
Divert, Inc., announced a collaboration with United States Cold Storage (USCS), a provider of public refrigerated warehousing and logistics, to process food and beverage waste. As a part of this program, unsold and non-donatable food and beverage products from USCS's California locations are brought to Divert's Integrated Diversion & Energy Facility in Turlock, California. The facility uses Divert's proprietary depackaging and anaerobic digestion technology to process the material into renewable energy and soil amendments. For more information, click here.
