                                    | ①Water Quality• Storm runoff carries urban trash and debris into local
                    rivers, streams, and beaches.• Underground
                    Infiltration System
 • Low Impact Development

 | ②Community• There is a need for safe neighborhood parks and for the
preservation and enhancement of existing recreational
                    facilities.

 | ③Education• The public is increasingly aware of water resources
challenges, but awareness of innovative, environmentally
sustainable solutions still needs to be raised.

The Monteith Park and View Park Green Alley Stormwater
Improvements Project is located in the unincorporated area of
View Park, the Project will capture and infiltrate urban runoff
and stormwater from 228 acres of primarily residential and
                commercial land from neighboring areas.

The use of this water will help offset potential drought
conditions as well as improve downstream waterbodies such as
Ballona Creek and the Santa Monica Bay.
