Component 3:  Fairplex Traffic Management Plan

The Los Angeles County Fairplex Traffic Management Plan will include a complete traffic study and the research and conceptual design of specific ATMS strategies. An ATIS component will also be included to improve the management and operation of traffic on public highways and parking lots surrounding the Fairplex for weekday and weekend special events. The ATIS technologies could include the installation of changeable message signs (CMS); Closed Circuit Television (CCTV); parking guidance systems; Highway Advisory Radio (HAR); Highway Advisory Telephone (HAT); and communication links to cable TV, travel and information channels, information kiosks, and private sector travel information services.
