The Food DROP program also includes A Day Without Hunger, a series of food recovery/distribution events throughout Los Angeles County to raise public awareness of food insecurity.

Businesses:

May bring surplus food to their nearest food recovery event.

Learn how to safely donate food while claiming tax benefits.

Receive recognition for having a food donation program.
Residents:

Residents who need food are encouraged to come and receive free nutritious food and demonstrations on healthy meal preparations.

Residents with excess food may donate unopened, non-perishable (retail packaged) food items.

Residents may also donate fruits from their backyard to nonprofits. Call an organization below to set up a time and date for pickup.
