Del Valle Road Water Main Replacement Project

  • Los Angeles County Public Works will replace approximately 7,000 feet of 8-inch diameter water main with 12-inch water main. The new 12-inch water main will improve system reliability and ensure the health and safety of customers. The construction work is expected to start the week of August 9, 2021 through March 2022. Traffic delays may occur during the construction hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Crews will be working within Del Valle Road, Hunstock Street and Lincoln Avenue (including some shoulders and sidewalks).

Williams Ranch Joint Community Facilities Agreement

  • The Williams Ranch development proposes to construct approximately 497 dwelling units with community amenities and related infrastructure, north of Hasley Canyon Road near Del Valle Road in Castaic. The William S. Hart Union High School District formed Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2021-1 to provide financing for certain public facilities necessitated by the proposed development. CFD-financed water system facilities may ultimately be owned and operated by District No. 36, per a Joint Community Facility Agreement.
